Sometime last week there was an ice storm at the park. There are a lot of trees down over the trails as a result of the ice and snow.
There is also due to the large amount of rain a lot of ruts on some of the main trails. Joe Greishop is going to provide us a bulldozier when we can have someone there to operate it. I need to put together a work crew to help with the clearing of the down trees. Can anyone give me any work this weekend or on Friday.
If we keep up with who worked and the amount of hours put in we can count it towards in kind labor for the trail matching funds grant.
Thanks
Ken |

I can drive down tomorrow (Sunday) to work if there is anything planned. I can be there early. My saw is not running right now, but I have shears. I would be driving my jeep on 33's. Call me to discuss.

As of now it appears no one else will be working on Sunday. You would need a saw. The upper rock garden is completely blocked and will take awhile to clean out. I have been up there several days this week and I need to take Sunday off.
If anyone is coming here to ride over the holidays bring a saw with you, as a lot of trails are blocked. |

Me and Johnny Sherman will be there all weekend. He's also got somebody coming with him on an ATV. |

A big thanks to Casey for his help in cleaning some trails up today. The upper rock garden has been cleaned up but still needs some work. All of the trails up high have trees down. If you come here to ride in the near future bring a saw.

Had a good time today, working and enjoying the weather. Thanks to Ken for bringing his saw. Extremely nice day on the park. The road going up the hill (12) is very muddy, from all the dozer work that has taken place the last few day's to fix the washouts. As Ken said, there are still a lot of tree's down on the trails up on the mountain. If you get to ride, take a saw and knock a few of them out of the trails. |
